Vietnamese Student Associations hold date auction charity

Six Vietnamese Student Associations from six different universities will host a Date Auction charity event in Roussel Hall Saturday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

Chapters from UNO, LSU, Loyola, Xavier, Tulane and ULL will participate in the event. Each school will present a performance based on a theme, and this year’s theme is scary movies.

Three students from each school will be auctioned off to raise money for Kids Without Borders, their nonprofit organization. Over $8,000 was raised last year, and this year the organizations hope to exceed that amount.
