Loyola Wolf Pack baseball defeated Auburn University Montgomery 2-1 on April 22 at home.
Auburn University Montgomery was ranked the number eight team in the country before the game. Doug Faust, head coach, said it was a big win for the team as they head into the last games of the season.
“We’ve lost some close ones to higher ranked team this year, so it was good to finally get one,” Faust said.
The baseball team will play their last regular season game on April 29.
