A group of Tulane and Loyola students hold signs facing the anti-LGBTQIA+ protestors.
Loyola and Tulane students joined forces to counterprotest an anti-LGBTQIA+ group outside Tulane’s campus on Freret street Friday afternoon around 1 p.m.
The group held signs that read “Homo sex is a sin” and “Jesus saves from Hell.”
Many students utilized a nearby bench to make signs to express their dissent.
