Joelle Bordelon, sociology senior and captain of the women’s basketball team, was named honorable mention to the Louisiana Sportswriters Association All-Louisiana Team.
The point guard from Meraux, Louisiana, averaged 11.5 points per game. She was second in the NAIA in assists and first in the GCAC with 7.8 per game. In the conference tournament, she scored 25 points in consecutive games. Her performance earned her All-Tournament honors.
This year she was named All-GCAC and scored her 1,000-college career point in February against Belhaven.
