Dear Editor,
(RE: “New Territory,” Sept. 7) I would like to clarify some of the points in your article on Uptown Campus Dining and update Loyola students on the progress and efforts made to resolve those issues.
As of Oct. 1, Uptown Campus Dining is unrestricted for all students at all locations on both Tulane and Loyola campuses. (Loyola students were initially restricted from dining at Tulane’s Food Court between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. because Tulane wanted to be prepared and solve any traffic flow issues at the busiest time of service).
On www.uptowncampusdining.com, there is a feedback form on the contact page, and students’ concerns and comments will be responded to within a 24-hour period. We would appreciate feedback to continually improve the program.
The Loyola C-Store recently began offering an array of organic products due to focus group feedback from last year. We welcome all students interested in having a voice regarding dining on-campus and appreciate constructive feedback so that we can continually work toward meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
The C-Store on Loyola’s campus is designed to meet immediate convenience needs and offers an array of “grab and go” options, such as Smart Market sandwiches and salads and freshly prepared sushi, in addition to an array of dry goods, beverages and sundries.
Sincerely,
Caitlin Craig
