Discussions forums conclude
The College of Arts and Sciences Faculty Forum and the Loyola First-Year Experience will hold their final discussion on Hurricane Katrina on Thursday at 7 p.m. This past Thursday the discussion was New Orleans and its environment before and after Katrina. This week the discussion will focus on the working poor of New Orleans before and after the storm. Panelists will include: Alan Berube, Metropolitan Policy Fellow, The Brookings Institution; Jarvis DeBerry, columnist, Times-Picayune; and Angel Parham, assistant professor of Sociology, Loyola University. The discussions will be held in Nunemaker Auditorium, located in Monroe Hall.
