As part of a weeklong Jazz series through the Montage Fine & Performing Arts Series at Loyola, Grammy award-winning artist Nicholas Payton will be performing Saturday, March 19 at 4:30 p.m. in Roussel Hall. General admission for the show is $10, and the show is $5 for Loyola student and faculty.
Nicholas Payton is a New Orleans native and trumpet player. Payton’s performance will include arrangements from his albums “Dear Louis” and “Into the Blue,” as well as some new material.
The master class and concert were made possible through a grant the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation.
