A group of Loyola alumni have come together to say a final farewell to College of Music and Fine Arts professor and band director Joseph G. Hebert Jr., “Doc”, who will retire after a 50 year dedication to Loyola at the end of the spring semester.

The celebration will begin with one last performance by the professor himself along with the Loyola Wind Ensemble and Concert Band on Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m. in Roussel Hall.

The retirement party will continue with a wine and cheese reception at 4 p.m. The public is welcome to join the celebration for free.
