Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder and Alabama Shakes Round Out 2017 Jazz Fest Lineup

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival released their artist lineup this morning for the 2017 installment of the festival.
Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews, and Alabama Shakes are standout names rounding out the roster for the two-weekend festival spanning April 28 to May 7 at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course.
More standout names on the lineup of roughly 500 artists include jam-band stars Trey Anastasio Band and Widespread Panic, New Orleans mainstays Dr. John, the Meters, Irma Thomas, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and singers Patti LaBelle, Harry Connick Jr., Elle King.
Jazz Fest this year is also featuring a specialized showcase dedicated to Cuban music with over a dozen Cuban artists slated to perform. Early-bird advance tickets are available through Jazz Fest’s website through Feb. 14.
