SGA Senator to step down in coming weeks

SGA took a loss this week as biology sophomore and Senator at Large Lindsey Mixer announced she will step down from Senate to focus on her schoolwork.

Mixer was a Senator last year for the College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, and this year she was appointed as a Senator at Large.

“I have to make the unfortunate decision to step down from Senate because I am extremely overwhelmed with school,” Mixer said.

This leaves Senate with only three Senators at Large with many senator positions still open.
