Shadera Moore is The Maroon’s senior staff photographer. She is a fourth-year mass communication major and digital filmmaking minor from Slidell, Louisiana. In 2020, she worked at the Maroon as worldview editor and as proofreader for print and digital. Prior to that, Shadera wrote and anchored for the Maroon Minute and the Uptown Howl. Outside of the newsroom, she enjoys crewing for local independent short films.
