A free screening of “To Light a Candle,” a film about the persecution of Iran’s Baha’i population and their denial of a college education, will be presented on Friday, Feb. 27.

Consisting of interviews, personal stories and dramatic archival footage, the film explores how the Baha’i people have grown under persecution and their efforts to remain peaceful throughout Iran’s democratic movement. After the screening, a discussion of the “Education is Not a Crime” campaign will be held.

The screening will be in Bobet 332 at 7 p.m.
