On Sept. 21, Natalie Paul, Student Government Association vice president, reached out to Loyola’s deans and requested three senate nominations from each college.

According to Abigail Justice, SGA communication liaison, SGA is asking for nominations because there was not enough independent student interest.

Justice said that a full senate is needed to be effective, and that by asking for nominations, SGA is trying to find the most qualified students to fill senate.
