Audubon Zoo opens up new orangutan exhibit

Three endangered Sumatran orangutans will roam in a new 6,800-square foot habitat at the Audubon Zoo. They can stay active with new climbing structures reaching 45 feet. From this height they can see the rest of the zoo and Mississippi River. The orangutan exhibit will open Friday Oct. 2, 2015 at 9 a.m.
