The University Senate, the advisory body with representatives from each university department, postponed a vote of no-confidence on the Rev. Kevin, Wildes, S.J. that was scheduled for today to the January Senate meeting.

Marc Manganaro, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, announced a new initiative called the Strategic Mission on Diversity and Inclusiveness. This initiative will look at how diversity could be more incorporated into the curriculum, the possibility of hiring a diversity officer and having a more diverse faculty.

Manganaro also mentioned the financial equilibrium report that Wildes will propose to the Board of Trustees. If accepted by the Board, the Studio Art and Theater Arts and Dance programs will not be terminated.

The report was released to faculty and staff Nov. 18.
