The name of the student who died Saturday morning in Biever Hall has been released in a statement from John Sebastian, Vice President for Mission and Ministry.

19-year-old first-year student Kyra Koman was found unresponsive in her room over the weekend. Medical officials later pronounced her dead on the scene. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed, as the medical examiner is still filling out the report and has not released an official statement.

Details on a university memorial to celebrate Koman will be released at a later date.
