The No. 25 ranked women’s basketball team started their season-ending road trip on Saturday by traveling to take on the University of Mobile.
The Wolf Pack’s defense held the Rams to just 31 percent shooting and forced 23 turnovers in the 66-51 victory. Additionally, not one Rams player managed to score in double figures.
The Wolf Pack had a slow start but managed to fight their way back in the second quarter where they took their first lead of the game.
Loyola never trailed in the second half, building the lead to as much as 17 points in the fourth quarter with the help of guard Meghan Worry as she led the team with 17 points and five rebounds.
Loyola will finish the regular season by traveling to take on William Carey University on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m.
