Shoeboxus: Krewe Love is True Love

The Intergalactic krewe of Chewbacchus returns with their now annual Shoeboxus parade in honor of the Star Wars Oriented date “May the fourth be with you.”

In furthering the nerdy pun, the krewe welcomes fans to participate in the parade for a fee of $30. School groups are welcome to participate for free.

The parade will roll at 7 p.m. beginning at The Joint in the Bywater and will end an hour later at the Castillo Blanco Art Studios on St. Claude Ave.

Following will be a crawfish boil. More information on the self-described nerdy crew is available of the Chewbacchus website.
