New Orleans hosted its annual Fried Chicken Festival on Oct. 1 and 2 at the Lakefront for the first time in two years. This event was canceled for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Locals and out-of-towners alike flocked to the festival grounds to get a taste of New Orleans’ wide variety of fried chicken options. This event featured more than 20 different restaurants both local and from out of town, musical acts, and vendors, according to the fest’s official website.

The Fried Chicken Festival is presented by Cane’s, a Baton-rouge based fast-food chicken chain. The event featured local gems such as Alma Cafe and out-of-state restaurants such as Wing Daddy from Dallas.
