The women’s volleyball team won the game after an opening set loss, taking down Faulkner ,3–1, on the road. Loyola regrouped and responded with three straight wins to close out the match, showing the kind of resilience that has been a theme for the team so far this season.
The win moved Loyola to 11–5 overall and 2–1 in the Southern States Athletic Conference, giving the pack momentum heading into another conference weekend.
On offense, the team finished with 55 successful attacks—the most they’ve had in a three- or four-set match this season—along with 10 points scored directly from serves.
Freshman outside hitter Isis Harink, set the tone with 15 kills and seven blocks, while teammates Ellie Conner and Clarissa Tucker Dupree also provided some key sparks throughout the match.
“It felt really special to come off a tough loss and be able to come together as a team and win together the next day,” Conner said.
Looking ahead, Tucker Dupree said she’s excited for the challenge of facing Brewton-Parker and Life at home this weekend.
Harink added, “I plan to carry the energy by supporting my teammates and never let my head down.”
With confidence and chemistry building, the Wolf Pack now turns its focus to a pair of home conference matchups at The Den—hosting Brewton-Parker at 6 p.m. on Friday, followed by a Saturday showdown with Life University at 1 p.m
