“I came early so it wasn’t hard to move in,” said Caitlin Fowler, a marketing freshman from Kentucky. Fowler lives in Buddig Hall. “[The dorms] are far nicer than anything I’ve seen before. They’re better than [the dorms at] public universities.”
“They’re spacious. I like the convenience of living so close to campus and having two internet connections and two phone lines,” said Biever Hall resident Brian Halford, a business major from San Diego.
“I like someone else cleaning the bathroom,” said Biever Hall resident Nate Jarett, an economics freshman from Connecticut.
Dustin Hymel, music education freshman, commutes to Loyola from Algiers every day. “I think I would enjoy the dorms, but I also enjoy being able to go home and have a good meal every night,” he said.
Hymel helped a friend move into Buddig Hall this week. “The dorms are nice–a bit small, but they serve their purpose.”
“Parking is a real pain here,” said business transfer and commuter student Scott Waltemath.
“I enjoy it,” said Buddig Hall resident Ali DiNatale, general studies freshman from Pennsylvania, of dorm life. About her roommate, DiNatale said, “We’re not close, but we’re friends.”
“The dorms are great,” said Biever Hall resident Steve Kashishin, a computer information systems freshman from New Jersey. “I like the air conditioning.”
