Each Loyola sorority waits for its new members at a specific location on Bid Day: Alpha Chi Omega in the horseshoe in front of Loyola, Delta Gamma on the steps of the Tom Benson Jesuit Center, Gamma Phi Beta in the Audubon Room and Theta Phi Alpha in Dixon Court. Each sorority is happy to welcome its new members in to the bond of sisterhood after four days of recruitment. Monday, Sept. 23, was Bid Day for Loyola’s National Panhellenic sororities. Bid Day is traditionally the Monday after sorority recruitment, and it is when all the potential new members find out which sorority has given them a bid.
