Fooducate
With an easy to understand, interactive interface, this app allows users to scan or search for food items in order to learn about a food’s nutritional quality and to determine healthier alternatives. After scanning an item, the app will return a grade from A to D based on excess sugar, trans fats, GMOs, high fructose corn syrup and artificial food colorings, among other information that may not be easily seen on a nutrition label.
- Pros: created by dieticians, easy to scan and search, Android version is ad-free
- Cons: not all items are in their database

Temple Run 2
Part two of the game is similar to the first – jumping, sliding, turning and running away from the beast chasing after the cursed idol in your arms. This time, the game offers zip lines, mines and different characters to choose from once users gain enough points. Study breaks can help you focus better when it’s time to get back to work and this game can be a good one. Just be sure not to get too sucked in.
- Pros: fulfilling objectives makes the game hard to get old
- Cons: can be addicting
