On Nov. 3, author and journalist Rick Bragg will be coming Loyola for a speech and book signing.
The event is put on by Crescent City Radio, the Loyola English Department and Walter Percy Center. In 1996, Bragg won the Pulitzer Prize for his feature writing. Brag also won the American Society of Newspaper Editors Distinguished writing award, a Nieman Fellowship and several other awards. Bragg is currently a writing professor at the University of Alabama. The event will be held in Nunemaker Hall from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at that the door. General admission is $8 and students pay $5.
