Warm up this weekend by grabbing some gumbo at the 3rd annual Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival Saturday, Dec. 11 through Sunday Dec. 12.
The festival will take place on 1225 N. Rampart St. at the Jazz & Heritage Center from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival is free to attend and will feature live Tremé New Orleans jazz.
Four local restaurants and catering companies will be showcasing various signature Crescent City gumbo dishes and there will even be a gumbo contest, as well as televisions set up so attendees can watch the Saints game.
