Residents had to evacuate Carrollton Hall late Wednesday night after a ruptured fire sprinkler unleashed a torent of flood water throughout the upperclassman dorm.
Officials said as much as five inches of standing water spilled throughout the residence. Initial reports indicated that the flood began on the sixth floor and spilled down through the building. Residential Life had to relocate all students who live in the building to other living accomodations because of a worry that the flood waters could have caused an electrical hazzard.
