Loyola’s women’s golf team opened their season at Spring Hill College on March 4 and 5 in Mobile, Ala. The team players Julia Falco, Raven Richard, Kaitlin Kelly and Alexandra Thayer posted a team score of 902 with identical 451 scores in rounds one and two of the tournament. Falco was the high scorer for the team with a total score of 202 after round one and two. Kelly came just behind Falco with a total score of 205. Thayer posted a total score of 235 while Richard rounded out the group with 260. The women’s golf team will play their second game on March 18 and 19 at the William Carey Tournament at 8 a.m.
