Recently renovated Thomas Hall was awarded LEED Gold Certification for environmental sustainability. The US Green Building Council defines LEED as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED Gold is the second highest level of achievement by the USGBC and Green Building Certification Institute.
Thomas Hall was awarded its LEED status because of its sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy savings, renewable resources and indoor environmental quality. LEED Certification is the most recognized global standard for buildings that are efficient, cost-effective and better for people and the environment.
