The House of Blues is a chain venue, meaning that several are scattered throughout the nation. But the House of Blues New Orleans incorporates Southern culture in a way that no others do, with the venue itself being home to the biggest collection of folk art in America. The rustic, wooden space feels like an old blues hall, with a stage and sound system large enough to draw in big-name acts like Fiona Apple, Animal Collective and Willie Nelson. The Parish, located on the side of the venue, hosts shows that frequently include Loyola bands on the bill.
