Loyola’s athletic department released its new logo. The Wolf Pack revealed the logo yesterday during the window at Maroon & Gold Day. It is the sixth logo in Loyola’s history since the university adopted the Wolf Pack as its mascot in 1924.
A committee of administrators and students had been working with Phoenix Design Works for one year to develop the new design. Athletic Director Michael Giorlando described the logo as “contemporary, fierce, bold and moving into action.”
