Head coach Kellie Kennedy has released the 2013-2014 women’s basketball schedule. With a team comprised of mostly sophomores and juniors team, having one senior, the women have been practicing in anticipation for their season opener on Oct. 10 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
That will be the debut of accounting junior Megan Whittaker, a junior transfer coming from Louisiana Lafayette. That following Wednesday will be the ladies’ first home game, scheduled against Lyon College. This season will mark the sixth season Kennedy has been a part of the Pack, as well as the women’s fourth season competing in the Southern States Athletic Conference conference.
Loyola was 11-17 overall and 8-10 in conference last year.
