Carlos Ayala, a Loyola alumnus donated 1.5 million dollars to the College of Business in 2011. Ayala attributes his success in investing to his education at Loyola.
This generous gift has resulted in the erection of a state-of-the-art Stock Trading Room located on the first floor of Miller Hall. This room will provide a ticker board displaying market data, four LCD screens, and computers open to the student body. Ayala’s contribution will also be used for scholarships and increased funding of investment classes.
