The trial of an accused murderer of a former Loyola graduate student is set to start tomorrow, Nov. 20 at the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.
Erik Traczyk, 38, is accused of murdering Nia Robertson on Aug. 15, 2007 at Pal’s Bar in Mid-City.
Robertson graduated from Loyola with a master’s degree in mass communication in 2004. A memorial scholarship was left in her name and is given each year to a New Orleans native studying mass communication.
