Loyola’s 2010 Bateman team won big in the Public Relations Society of America awards.
The Bateman team won the Silver Anvil award from “The Great Idea” category for its “Down for the Count” campaign, which targeted less represented populations in order to increase their participation in the census. The campaign targeted New Orleans Vietnamese, Hispanic, and college communities.
The winning team included Jodi Forte, mass communication junior, Kate Gremillion, mass communication junior, Marimar Velez, mass communication senior, Dominic Moncada, and Christine Minero A’10.
