Loyola’s College of Law Moot Court team placed first in the National Moot Court Competition Region VII Regional Rounds. The Region VII rounds were held at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center Nov. 7-9. Loyola prevailed in oral argument rounds against Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, University of Alabama and Faulkner University Jones School of Law. The team defeated LSU Law Center in the final round, where they were named regional champions. Loyola’s will head to nationals in New York City Jan. 28-31.
