Loyola’s women’s basketball team lost to #23 Columbia College on Saturday, Nov. 27 by a final of 73-59. Loyola found themselves down at halftime but only by a sling margin of 27-22. But Columbia had a strong start to the second half to the second had scoring the first eight points of the half. This was part of a 15-4 run Columbia used to put the game away early in the half. Despite the loss Keiva Council had a strong individual performance with 21 points. Even with Council hitting from beyond the arc the ‘Pack struggled as a team with three point shooting 24 percent and just 35 percent from the field.
