Loyola volleyball extended their undefeated streak to five matches with a 3-0 win over Belhaven. The Wolfpack (19- 11, 3-1) will remain a half game behind the University of Mobile in the Southern States Athletic Conference West Division standings.
Psychology junior Gina Gill provided much of the offense, with 16 kills in the match.When Belhaven rallied toward the end of the set, chemistry freshman Sabrina Stansberry, put them away with a kill. In the second game the score remained close. With the score tied at 22, manage- ment junior, Lindsay Mullnix got a kill and Belhaven committed two errors to end the set. In the third and final set Loyola pushed their lead to 21-10 and kept Belhaven at bay for the rest of the match.
