Anthony Davis set the New Orleans Pelicans franchise record for most points scored with 59 points in a win against the Detroit Pistons on Feb. 21.
Davis shot 68 percent from the field and finished with 59 points, 20 rebounds and four assists as he led the Pelicans to a second straight victory.
While the rest of the Pelicans struggled, Davis and Jrue Holliday scored 79 combined points in a 111-106 road victory.
Davis’s 59 point performance is the most points scored in the NBA this season.
The Pelicans will play against the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
