Mass communication alumna and Telemundo anchor Maria Celeste Arrarás, A’ 82, visited Loyola on Friday, April 8 to celebrate the accomplishments in her career thus far.

Arrarás returned to Loyola to film a segment for a Telemundo special celebrating the anniversary of her 30 years in television. She also took a campus tour, taught a capstone journalism class and visited the School of Mass Communication’s new studio set.

The best-selling author and Emmy award-winning television journalist will be inducted into the Mass Communication Den of Distinction and honored by the university in May.
