Manuel “Rocco” Gandara was named a 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete. The NAIA announced on Monday, March 18, 60 student-athletes across the country who were named to the team. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a junior and have a 3.5 GPA. The 6’8” junior forward from Tintillo Guaynabo, Puerto Rico played in 28 games for the Wolf Pack this past season. Gandara is an international business major and in his third season playing for Loyola.
