THEFT
Two iPhones were stolen from the Recreational Sports Complex this past week.
One was stolen on Jan. 13 from a jacket that was placed near the basketball court. The other was stolen on Jan. 14 after being left next to the owner’s bag near the weight room.
A student reported that a laptop and charger were stolen Jan. 14. The items were taken from a first floor study table in the Monroe Library after the owner had been gone for about five minutes.
AUTO THEFT
Two cars were stolen in the Uptown neighborhood. One was stolen on Jan. 17 from the 2500 block of Soniat Street. The other was stolen on Jan. 18 from the 2900 block of Octavia Street.
BICYCLE THEFT
A bicycle was stolen on Jan. 17 from the 6000 block of Magazine Street.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
A law student reported a suspicious event that occurred on Pine Street in front of the law school on Jan. 20.
An old Toyota circled around the street in the wrong direction before the driver got out of the car.
He then made a gun motion with his hand towards the student before walking away. University Police were not able to find either the driver or the car.
