Therapy dogs help students pawspurr during midterms
February 22, 2019
In a flurry of Mardi Gras costumes, with an entourage of supervisors and the goal of helping students destress from midterms, six trained therapists visited Loyola on Feb. 21. The attraction? They were dogs.
Through a partnership with the non-profit Visiting Pet Program, Loyola celebrated Wolf Pack Wednesday by hosting the furry companions in the Pan-American Life Student Success Center. Students played and cuddled the dogs who are trained in therapy and assisted activity.
