Loyola hires new Title IX coordinator

Dawn Broussard has been hired as Loyola’s new Title IX coordinator and deputy chief student affairs officer, according to an email from Alicia Bourque, vice president of student affairs. Broussard started on Jan. 31 and has started seeing students to discuss Title IX cases, according to student reports.
Broussard is a Louisiana nati​​ve with experience in student conduct and affairs, previously serving as an investigator in the office of institutional equity and as the assistant director for the office of student conduct at Tulane University.
Broussard holds a B.S. in elementary education from Louisiana State University, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Nicholls State University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, according to the email.
