Loyola sees record-breaking number of Gilman Scholars

Eleven Loyola students received Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to participate in study abroad and intern abroad programs in the coming semesters.
The award is run by the U.S. Department of Education, and is meant to support undergraduates who are traditionally underrepresented in study abroad.
According to a press release by the university, the students honored are Jabez Berniard, Peyton Finch, Hallé Gugsa, Josi Guidry, Macie LaFonta, Augie Lodholz, Mohamed Mohamed, Anna Nguyen, Heather Rabassa, Kaliah Rodgers, and Victoria Sosa.
