Dessadra Tezeno, Lead Anchor
Dessadra Tezeno serves as the Lead Anchor for The Maroon. She is a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism with double minors in Biological Sciences and Marketing. In addition to anchoring, she co-hosts the Weekly Howl series. With a strong passion for journalism, Dessadra continues to build her career in broadcast through anchoring, reporting, assisting with breaking news coverage, and collaborating with industry professionals. Beyond the newsroom, she serves as the Founding Student Chapter President of Women in Media, leading the first student chapter in Louisiana and in the nation. She is also the creator of HERLINE, a lifestyle and fashion digital magazine, and the owner of her photography and videography business, Capturedbydessadra.
