If you’re tired of the cereal in the O.R., try cooking up this classic, simple breakfast food that only takes a few minutes to make.
French Toast
You will need: Three eggs, milk, bread, butter or nonstick cooking spray, powdered sugar or syrup.
Beat the eggs well in a bowl. Add a just a dash of milk and stir. Take a slice of bread and drench it in the egg mixture on both sides. Grease the bottom of a pan with either butter or nonstick cooking spray. Cook the bread until it is brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and top with powdered sugar or syrup. This recipe will make enough for four or five pieces of French toast. It will make the cooking easier if you re-grease the pan in between each piece. You can also keep the rest of the milk to drink with your breakfast. Bon appetit!
