On Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium, Eileen Barker, from the London School of Economics at the University of London, will talk with the founder of an educational charity that provides objective information about new religious movements.
Barker has written research books such as “The Making of a Moonie: Brainwashing or Choice?” and “New Religious Movements: A Practical Introduction.”
In 1988, Barker founded Information Network Focus on Religious Movements, an educational charity based at the London School Economics, which provides information about minority and new religious movements.
