This year’s commencement ceremony will not be held in the Louisiana Superdome, as previously planned.
Via an e-mail, “Cissy” Petty, vice president for Student Affairs and associate provost, confirmed that this year’s commencement ceremony will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center instead of the Louisiana.
Tulane University also planned to hold its commencement ceremony at the Louisiana Superdome, but it will now be held at the convention center.
As of May, the Louisiana Superdome will begin several large-scale facility upgrades.
