Last time the Lady Wolfpack took the floor in Delgado’s Williamson Center, they suffered bitter heartache in a 55-51 loss to SUNO.
On Jan. 18 against Dillard University, however, they devoured a 88-68 feast.
Psychology freshman Trenese Smith and sociology sophomore Adama Mballow paced the ‘Pack’s attack with 16 points and 11 points, respectively. Mballow scored all her points as a backup off the bench.
Psychology pre-med senior Kimberly Rigg, criminal justice freshman Marley Milton (also off the bench) and mass communication senior Kiely Schork all added 10 points, once again exhibiting the balanced scoring that’s become the bread and butter of this team’s success in the GCAC (9-8 overall, 3-2 in conference).
“It’s always nice to get a road win in this league,” Plaisance said after the game. “I thought we played well in all phases. We got some great minutes from the bench tonight.
“Adama and Marley were huge for us.”
