In a first round matchup in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Championship First Round, fourth seeded Westminster College defeated fifth seeded Loyola University 67-42 at Oman Arena in Jackson, Tenn. March 18.
Westminster College led at halftime 26-24 but opened up the second half with a 21-6 run propelling them to victory.
Trenese Smith, business management senior, finished the game scoring a team high 24 points. Garkeiva Council, sociology freshman, added nine rebounds.The Lady Wolfpack ended the season with a 23-7 overall record.
